I was once asked...
What do you hope your art does for people who have the opportunity to engage
To assist in the acceptance that life isn’t perfect. Because my art isn’t perfect.
To assist in the acknowledgement that you can always find beauty in everything.
My art usually is charged through
the struggles I see my people go through everyday.
We embark in survival mode
only to come home to authentically
love on whatever is left.
I seek to renew the remains.
To recycle and rejuvenate our spirit.
My art is ever evolving and I simply want people to evolve with me.
To see the honesty and realness and to remain curious in what’s to come.
I don’t have a stop button.
